A Shade of Lobster

I spent a long long time on the beach yesterday. And it shows. I fell asleep out in the sun with no sunblock and well, my face is a deep shade of red, my legs burn like mad and my arms have a gorgeously dark tan on them. I was up all night last night being sick and today I’ve not felt too good at all. I’m not sure if it’s still the sunstroke or the fact that I drank about 12 pints of water and ate a big chinese meal, hah.
As for other things, not too much going on as usual. My life has recently become so dull I feel like I’m in one of those olden day films that don’t actually have a point to them. You watch it through and suddenly it’ll end and you’re sat there wondering why you just wasted 90 minutes of your life on such rubbish. I need to be doing something but I’m signed off work still because of what happened in May and I’m not particularly ready to go back to work yet.
I’m hoping to recieve my compensation money by the end of August or sometime around that point. If it’s enough, I’ll buy a car and pay off a little insurance then use the rest to pay for a deposit on a flat in Exeter. This place isn’t my cup of tea and since everything that’s happened here, I have a very negative opinion. Moving to Exeter would cheer me up. Yay ![]()

Ouch… I hope your sunburns heal up soon. And that you get the compensation soon.
Is Exeter far from where you are right now?

Try brewing some tea and chilling it and putting it on your body. Make a huge pot and put it in the tub with you =) It’ll soothe the burns, trust me.

Ouch your sunburn sounds really painful. I am glad that I do not burn in the sun, however I rarely get a tan either.
Hopefully your compensation comes up to the amount that you hoped and you can buy the car and pay off some of the insurance.
