I chose the name Dusted Petals because it sounds so pretty. I have an obsession with flowers, especially roses (hence the tattoo on my stomach) and lillies. I wasn't sure what to put with the words Petals.. so I thought long and hard. I was thinking of flowers and how the petals collect dewsdrops that look like small crystals. But I didn't like the idea of crystal petals for a domain name, so I thought again. I thought of flowers being something that can hold a memory.. and how memories are old. I thought of how old things can collect dust, which made me think of my domain name. I like it, anyhow :)

This domain was first registered as a .org in 2005, but it ran out and the domainbots took it over within the day, which made me very angry. So I then registered the .com again in 2006. Since then I've renovated many many times and have been counting visitors again since around November 2007.
